I came to Ghana for the castles and I am so glad I did it with Kuulboi. Our guide understood exactly what that day meant to me and gave me space when I needed it. The canopy walk in the morning was pure joy and the afternoon was something I will carry forever.

Perfectly organised from the pick-up to the drop-off. The baboons at Shai Hills came right up to the car and the boat on Volta Lake in the afternoon was the highlight of our two weeks in Ghana.

My kids talked about the cocoa farm for weeks. Tasting the fresh pulp straight from the pod and then seeing it become chocolate the same day was brilliant for them, and honestly for me too.

A calm and beautiful half day after a hectic week. The gardens are gorgeous, the air is cooler up in the hills, and our guide was patient with my slow photography stops.

Great fun and well run. The zipline and obstacle course were better than I expected this close to Accra. Traffic on the way back was heavy but that is Accra, not Kuulboi.

They built us a full week from scratch around our budget and our interests. Everything arrived on time, every driver was professional, and they were on WhatsApp whenever we had a question.
